Arkmind was awarded the Cradle SPRINT grant, a government-backed fund whose due diligence is independent proof of our processes, standards, and track record.
Any technology vendor will tell you it is reliable. Proving it is harder. For a lender choosing who to trust with its loan book, a vendor’s own word is not enough. Independent scrutiny from a respected institution carries far more weight. The Cradle SPRINT grant gives Arkmind this kind of external proof.
Arkmind has been awarded the SPRINT grant from Cradle, the Malaysian government-owned fund backing early-stage technology companies. Winning it meant passing Cradle’s due diligence on our business, our processes, and our track record.
This article explains what the grant is, why a government-backed award is a trust signal, what it says about our standard operating procedures, and how it fits our mission in digital lending.

What is the Cradle SPRINT grant?
The SPRINT grant is a funding award from Cradle Fund, the Malaysian government-owned agency under the Ministry of Finance supporting early-stage technology companies. To receive it, a company passes due diligence on its business model, finances, and operations. The grant funds growth and signals the company cleared an independent review.
Cradle has backed Malaysian start-ups for years and is one of the country’s better-known early-stage funds. An award from it is a recognised marker in the local technology community.
Why a government-backed grant is a trust signal
A lender handing its operations to a software partner takes on real risk. The wrong partner means downtime, compliance gaps, and a stalled loan book. So every prospective client wants one assurance above all: dependability.
Cradle answers part of this for us. A government-owned fund does not write a cheque on a pitch alone. It reviews the business behind the product. Passing this review means a respected public institution looked at Arkmind and judged it sound. For a client weighing vendors, this is proof no marketing page provides.
What Cradle’s vetting confirms about our SOPs
Behind a dependable product sits disciplined operation. Cradle’s due diligence looks past the demo into how a company runs day to day: how it documents work, controls quality, and manages risk.
Arkmind runs on documented standard operating procedures (SOPs). Every stage of how we build and deliver our platform follows a defined process, from code to deployment to client support. Cradle’s review tested these procedures against an external standard, and the grant is the result.
For a lender in a regulated industry, this matters. A vendor with clear SOPs is a vendor whose work holds up to an audit, because the discipline shown to Cradle is the discipline applied to every client engagement.
A proven record, checked from outside
The grant does not stand alone. It joins a record clients already see: lenders running live on our platform, and seven KPKT Digital Lending License applications supported end to end. Each is a different form of external proof.
Clients show the product works in production. The KPKT Digital Lending License work shows it meets the regulator’s bar. The Cradle grant shows the company behind it runs on sound processes. Together they answer the reliability question from three angles, harder to argue with than any single claim.
A buyer does not have to take our word for the quality of our work. Three independent parties already weighed in.
Our mission: digital transformation in digital lending
The grant supports a clear goal. Arkmind exists to move lending in Malaysia from manual, paper-bound processes to digital operations built for scale.
Funding and recognition from Cradle let us invest further in this goal: stronger products, deeper compliance features, and the AI tools shaping the next stage of credit decisions. Each step serves the same mission, helping traditional lenders become digital ones. Read more about what drives us on our about page.
What this means for our clients
For existing and future clients, the Cradle SPRINT grant changes nothing about how we work and confirms a great deal about it. The same vetted processes deliver our digital lending platform and support every lender on it.
A grant is a milestone, not a finish line. It tells the market Arkmind is a vetted, government-backed partner, and it frees us to keep building toward a fully digital lending market in Malaysia.
